Did you KNOW … that what you DON'T KNOW about vaccines - could hurt your children?

Did you KNOW ... that Merck has recently omitted previously posted safety data on Thimerosal from its web page? The public now may not know how very toxic Thimerosol is for human consumption and/or contact.

Did you KNOW ... that independent medical research confirms that the measles virus is in the gastrointestinal tracts of up to 96% of autistic children?

Did you KNOW ... that a recent DNA test links autism to the MMR vaccine?

Did You KNOW ... that in response to the bioterrorism panic, Florida's state legislature and Governor Jeb Bush embraced the original coercive version of model legislation for bioterrorism response (called The Emergency Health Powers Act) which is designed to give unelected government officials the power to "act decisively" in the event of an attack or outbreak of new diseases to treat, vaccinate and quarantine individuals on a compulsory basis? Did you know that the Florida legislation empowers government officials to "compel" people to submit to a physical exam or test without a court order, and it allows government officials to "compel" people to be vaccinated or treated for infectious diseases without their informed consent? Under this legislation, physicians and other health workers could be forced to do testing or face criminal liability. Furthermore, states would have broad emergency powers to confiscate property and facilities. Did you know that this legislation gives tremendous powers to unnamed and unaccountable public health officials while shielding them from civil liability?!

Did you KNOW … that in response to the bioterrorism panic, the pharmaceutical industry executives and lobbyists are seeking exemption from antitrust regulations, reduction of the timetable for getting new drugs to market for treating the ills of biological warfare, and immunity from lawsuits for any vaccines they develop to combat bioterrorism. Did you know that this industry has more lobbyists than there are members of Congress? It had a combined lobbying and campaign contribution budget in 1999 and 2000 of $197 million, larger than any other industry.

Did you KNOW … that The AMA's Code of Medical Ethics require that patients receive informed consent about all reasonably effective treatments?

Did you KNOW … that a 1993 federal "Immunization Initiative" gives states more than $400 million in vaccine incentives and a $100 bounty for each child vaccinated with the shots the federal government says are must-haves?

Did you KNOW … that children are as much as six times more likely to suffer fever-related seizures on the day of DPT vaccination compared with children who don't receive the vaccination?

Did you KNOW … that children are almost three times more likely to have fever-related seizures following an MMR vaccination over a period of eight to 14 days compared with children who don't receive the vaccination?

Did you KNOW … that children under the age of 14 are three times more likely to suffer adverse effects, including death, following the Hepatitis B vaccine than to catch the disease itself?

Did you KNOW … that the Centers for Disease Control admits that the reported number of adverse effects from vaccination is probably only 10% than the actual number of adverse effects?

Did you KNOW … that in 1912 an article published in the British Medical Journal asked this question: "How is it that something like 80 percent of cases admitted into the smallpox hospitals have been vaccinated, while only 20 percent have not been vaccinated?"

Did you KNOW … that in a study published in 1996, N.Z. Miller wrote, "In 1950, before mass immunizations began, the United States had the third lowest infant mortality rate in the world. By 1986, the United States dropped to 17th place. Today (1995), there are 23 countries ahead of the United States, by now world-renowned for its appalling infant mortality rate."
